तरङ्गावलिस्ते बलाकैश्च भाति
सदा सर्वदेवैर्नता ते सुकीर्ति: ।
जटाजूटधारानुगन्त्री जवेन
नमो मानगङ्गे तरङ्गिण्यजाये ।।1।।
प्रभा ते जनानां सदा नन्दनीया
प्रभाते हि नानाविधप्रार्थनीया
प्रभाते कराभ्यां सदा वन्दनीया
नमः शैवगङ्गे तरङ्गिण्यजाये।।2।।
सदा चौषधीनां रसानीतगर्भा
त्वया विश्वकल्याणवीथिर्हि भुक्ता।
जनानां मुदा पापरक्षां करोषि
नमस्ते सुगङ्गे तरङ्गिण्यजाये।।3।।
सदा शुद्धनीरा सदा पूतवीरा
शिवप्रस्थलंगामिनी या प्रसन्ना
पवित्रं हि सर्वं करोतीह नित्यं
नमः शैलकन्ये तरङ्गिण्यजाये।।4।।
सदाराधनीया सदा जीवधारा
हृदा या नरेन्द्रैः सदा पूजनीया।
चिरंजीविनि त्वं धरित्रीतलेऽस्मिन्
नमो धन्यगङ्गे तरङ्गिण्यजाये।।5।।

ReplyDeleteThis stotra is composed with two fold objectives. It describes river Ganga which is one of the holy river of Bharat. As the river flows through Himalayan region, it is the purest river due to many medicinal qualities. So, many people use to dip into it. Now-a-days, this holy river needs to be cleaned. Our Hon. Prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi is putting lots of efforts to make this mission successful. From my side, this stotra is a small stepping stone. You all will find his name in the stotra.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, the title is given with a purpose. Our beloved teacher Mrs. Tarangini Khot is working for the enhancement of Sanskrit through various programmes since more than 25 years. I salute to her dedication. The unique feature of this stora is the names of Respectable Mr. Prabhakar Panshikar (Madam’s father), Resp. Dajikaka Panshikar (Uncle), Mr. Narendra Khot (her betterhalf) are woven in this stotra along with her name.
